Online vs Bricks and Mortar

Online vs Bricks and Mortar

A topic my friend Leo and I often talk about is how online businesses compare to bricks and mortar ones. Here is some insight he had about how you can start to compare the two: In hard times people get a little bit more creative about making money. As there is less money to go around one wants to insure that what one has can go a long way. One might be tempted to visit markets and a sell some products or…

Five tips for success

Five tips for success

Guy Kawasaki, a popular entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and blogger used to contribute, till recently, to a blog for Sun Microsystems. In his final post he outlines five important lessons he learnt along the way. Graduation in November

Graduation in November

I finally received the news that I’ve sucessfully completed all the requirements for my MBA. It’s been a great ride and I thank all the professors at Heriot-Watt for everything I’ve learnt. In retrospect I could have done better in some subjects, but considering I held a full-time job, kept busy in my free time, and had a son in the meantime, I’m pretty please with what I’m achieved. I also now have justification for owning and running this blog…
